The 1,091-acre Unicoi State Park is operated by the state of Georgia and boasts RV hookups and secluded tent sites. RV sites have 30- or 40-foot pads, as well as electric, water, and sewer connections. Each campsite is equipped with a fire ring, grill top, and picnic table. There is also a unique “squirrel’s nest” primitive camping platform as well as Safari “glamping” tents at Unicoi.

Vogel State Park

One of the only privately owned campgrounds near Helen, GA, Hearthstone Cabins and Campground has a little bit of everything. With a beautiful property and convenient location 1 mile from downtown Helen, it’s hard to beat.

Guests at Hearthstone can bring their own RV or tent for the camping sites, all of which have 30-, 50-, or 110-amp electric hookups as well as water connections. Alternatively, guests can stay at one of the rustic, yet fully furnished cabins.
